MEMORY OF A
FACE-TO-FACE
Performative encounters
November 7 and 8, 2020
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
Souvenir d'un Tête-à-tête offers two experiences to experience the constraints of distance in a playful and performative spirit. Tables set up for "tête-à-tête" between artists, invited to create together but at a distance, to collaborate without contact. How do we feel about a strict health protocol and how does this influence our practice? What place remains for feeling, sharing and sensitivity while the epidemic forces us to wear masks and gloves, to talk to each other through plexiglass? So many layers that accentuate the distance between each.

COLLECTION OF THE ARCHIVES OF THE ATELIER DE L'ÎLE
L'Atelier de l'Île has set up a series of exhibitions to present the important works from its visual archives.
The series began in 2018 with the exhibition of prints by Bonnie Baxter, followed by Gilles Boisvert, to end with that of Jocelyne Aird-Bélanger.
These remarkable artists have greatly contributed to the development and influence of the Atelier de l'Île, which underlined their contribution by appointing them honorary members.
